Taxi
A taxi will likely cost around $30 to get from the airport to The Hotel Minneapolis.
Light Rail Transit
The Hiawatha Light Rail Line is another convenient way to get from the airport to the hotel. Rates are $2.25 during rush hours, $1.75 at all other times. The Terminal 1-Lindbergh light rail station is located below the Transit Center, between the Blue and Red Parking ramps. From the Tram Level (one level below bag claim), take the tram to the Transit Center. When you exit the tram, follow the signs to the light rail station, located 70 feet underground.
Take the train toward downtown Minneapolis. Get off at the Government Plaza stop.
•Head northwest on 5th Street S toward 3rd Avenue S.
•Turn right on 3rd Avenue S.
•Walk 1 block.
•Turn left on 4th Street S.
•Walk 1 block.
The Hotel Minneapolis is located on the corner of 4th Street S and 2nd Avenue S.

City Hall and The Hotel Minneapolis are one block apart. The front door of the hotel faces the intersection of South Fourth Street and 2nd Avenue South. Take a right and walk east on South Fourth Street. City Hall is on the next block. Look for the clock tower!
